Remember the nerd in the 2013 Super Bowl commercial who got to make out with Bar Refaeli for a Go Daddy ad? Of course you do! His name is Jesse Heiman.
And although he seemed to have risen to fame overnight, Heiman — for the past 12 years — has actually been an extra in what seems like nearly every movie and TV show ever! But now the curly haired 35-year-old reveals to RumorFix that he refuses to settle for 15 minutes of fame, and has instead embarked on a journey to land a serious long-time acting career, which he will document in the documentary The World’s Greatest Extra.
Jesse tells RumorFix that the doc will show what it’s like to be an actor in Hollywood and what it will take for him to fulfill his dream of becoming an A-Lister. “I am excited to have this opportunity to be in The Worlds Greatest Extra documentary, which is all about me and my life and how goofy and honest and cool I am,” he tells us. “I had no idea my experiences were so valuable, exciting, or funny. But being a part of this project is very humbling and cool. I am very excited!”
The film, which will follow Jesse’s life for a year as he tries to make himself more than just a movie extra, is also a reflection of Jesse’s passion to inspire other people to chase their aspirations as well. Heiman tells us, “I like to tell anyone that they can be an actor and that they don’t have to be stuck on YouTube if they have a passion and want to be recognized,” he adds, “I personify with so many audiences because I’m an average looking guy–people can identify with who I am so I hope I can inspire them to pursue whatever their dreams are.”
The production team needs to raise $65,000 to get this film off the ground. To help fund Jesse’s documentary, click here.
