The death of Cory Monteith not only has shaken up the cast of Glee, but it’s also caused the producers and writers to completely retool the first three shows of the fifth season, RumorFix has learned.
A press release obtained by RumorFix states:
“In light of the tragic passing of beloved Glee cast member Cory Monteith, the series’ executive producers, 20th Century Fox Television and Fox Broadcasting Company have jointly decided to delay the start of production of Glee until early August. Season Five of Glee will now premiere on Thursday, Sept. 26 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. No further details are available at this time.”
RumorFix has confirmed Glee producers will tastefully deal with the passing of his character Finn Hudson with the help of his real life girlfriend Lea Michele
The 31-year-old, who played a loveable quarterback turned Glee Club member, died of a overdose of heroin and alcohol last Saturday.
