Channing Tatum Takes Magic Mike To Broadway

Channing Tatum is bringing his life story as a stripper, Magic Mike, to Broadway, RumorFix has confirmed.

"You knew you were getting a sequel, but now you'll also soon be able to check out the LIVE stage version ... of Magic Mike, The Musical!" Channing revealed on his website. "Your favorite sexy male stripper story is hitting the stage and bringing with it the best of Broadway."

Unlike a real stripper, the "Sexiest Man Alive" isn't just taking the money and running, he will be involved in the production. "The show will be produced by Channing Tatum and his partner Reid Carolin, along with the film's director Steven Soderbergh and co-producers Gregory Jacobs and Nick Wechsler," the website reads. "Songs will be written by Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey, the creators of other Tony- and Pulitzer-winning Broadway hits like Next To Normal, and the book will be written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa."
