Angelina Jolie looked as radiant as ever on her first red carpet since her double mastectomy in February, RumorFix is reporting.
Mrs. Brad Pitt made a public appearance to support her fiance Brad Pitt’s new movie World War Z in London on Sunday.
The 37-year-old Oscar-winning actress wore a black sleeveless dress that made her look her usual elegant self.
Angelina said she had the surgery because she carried the BRCA1 gene and had a 87 percent chance of getting breast cancer.
“I am fortunate to have a partner, Brad Pitt, who is so loving and supportive,” Jolie wrote in a column in the New York Times. “So to anyone who has a wife or girlfriend going through this, know that you are a very important part of the transition. Brad was at the Pink Lotus Breast Center, where I was treated, for every minute of the surgeries. We managed to find moments to laugh together. We knew this was the right thing to do for our family and that it would bring us closer. And it has.”
