America’s second favorite judge (we have to give Judge Judy the top position) is calling it quits.
In a statement to RumorFix, Randy Jackson says:
“Yo! Yo! Yo! To put all of the speculation to the rest, after twelve years of judging on American Idol I have decided to leave after this season. I am very proud of how we forever changed television and the music industry. It’s been a life changing opportunity but I am looking forward to focusing on my company Dream Merchant 21 and other business ventures.”
The announcement comes as The Wrap reports that the money maker is going through a massive facelift next season — replacing all of the judging including Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban.
FOX obviously wants to save the show that has dropped 22 percent in ratings this year, because it brings in $800 million.
