Still A Rumor

NYC's Hot 97 radio personality and DJ Mister Cee was busted over the weekend for allegedly trying to solicit a male prostitute who turned out to be an undercover police officer in Bushwick, Brooklyn. The legendary turntablist, who's best known for his work with hip-hop icons Biggie Smalls and Big Daddy Kane, claims the prostitute was a woman not a man.

Clearly, Cee has been linked to male prostitutes in the past. In March 2011, Cee was arrested after he was caught with his “exposed, naked and erect penis” (according to the criminal complaint) while sitting in a parked car. He later pleaded guilty to loitering for the purpose of engaging in prostitution. Reportedly, the 46-year-old pleaded guilty in 2010 to the same charge.

Nevertheless, in an interview with Hot 97 program director Ebro Darden on Monday, Cee denied that he's gay. He told the station's listeners, "No, I am not gay. I have not engaged in homosexual activity. Out of the three incidents that happened in the past with me, there was only one person's name brought up that was a male."

"If you do your research and look at the incident that happened in 2011, that male person put out two different videos.  The first video was about him saying he doesn't know Mister Cee. Then, he did another with a comedian saying 'Yes, I was with Cee and he has a small penis.'  If you do your research, you will see those two interviews," he continued.

During the interview, Cee went so far as to accuse cops and the media of lying by saying the "prostitute" in this latest incident was a man when, according to him, it really was a woman. "Thursday night/Friday morning, I was approached by a female, Latino undercover cop. Not a male cop. The female Latino cop, I have her badge number so I know who it is," said Cee. "The first story that came out in the Daily News said it was a female undercover officer and you can research and see that that story was posted. Then they changed it soon after to male undercover officer. I have no idea why it changed."

"I understand that cops have a job to do.  She was undercover and she has to protect herself. She's going to have to be sequestered and I'm going to have to fight the case," he added.
