Michael Jordan’s wedding on Saturday to Yvette Prieto was fit for a sports legend — it had the largest wedding tent in history and some of the world’s best athletes, RumorFix is reporting.
Tiger Woods, Scottie Pippen and Patrick Ewing, Ron Harper, Toni Kukoc and Ahmad Rashad were reportedly among the 1,500 wedding guests. Michael, 50, and Yvette, 35, said their “I Dos” at Bethesda-by-the-Sea Episcopal Church in Palm Beach, Florida, the same church where Donald Trump got married in 2005.
Security dressed in tuxedos hold stunning white umbrellas successfully shielded the beautiful model and her husband from paparazzi. There were eight brides maids wearing lavender gowns, Michael’s mom, Dolores, wore a light mint dress.
The groom, in a black tux, was spotted for a split second while he was in his white town car leaving the church for the massive tent at the Bears Club in Jupiter, Florida. The tent was 40,000 square feet — bigger than the mansion Michael just built.
According to Gossip Extra, Usher performed a concert at the reception.
“They’ve been planning for months and months,” an insider told People. “He wanted to give Yvette everything she’s ever wanted.”
The basketball legend popped the question to Yvette in 2011.
