A dream came true for E!’s Ross Mathews on Monday when the cable network announced he got his own talk show called Hello Ross, RumorFix has confirmed.
Just before flying to New York from Los Angeles on Sunday, Ross Facebooked, “passed the Tonight Show studio where it all began 11 years ago. So happy.”
Ross was a pudgy 22-year-old kid with a high voice who won the hearts of anyone who came in contact with him. He started interning for Jay Leno’s talk show and it wasn’t long before Jay sent him out on red carpets and dubbed him “Ross The Intern.”
Ross later went on the Celebrity Fit Club and lost more than 40 pounds — he has successfully kept off the weight.
In 2010, he started doing red carpets for E! and has been a regular on Chelsea Lately and After Lately. Ross even filled in for Chelsea a few times.
So it makes sense that Chelsea is producing his new talk show. This is the way E! describes it:
“As the ultimate pop culture fan forum, this new interactive talk show is hosted by the super fan himself, Ross Mathews. Fans will have the unique opportunity to share their opinion on all the latest in pop culture, debate the most buzzworthy topics and come face to face with their favorite celebrities. “
We couldn’t be happier from Ross!
