Music mogul Phil Spector is the subject of a controversial HBO film starring Al Pacino but Spector's wife says he's not portrayed correctly -- she says he is not a "foul-mouthed megalomaniac."

Rachelle Spector, who is the third wife of the convicted murderer, she spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the movie.

Rachelle says when she heard the title Phil Spector, “It literally brought tears to my eyes … they have him as a foul-mouthed megalomaniac and they depict him as a Minotaur like he draws people into his labyrinth and he locks them in and won’t let them out.”

The 32-year-old says producers deliberately left her out of the film.  “[HBO] wanted to show no female support. No supporters at all ... They didn’t want to meet my husband. They didn’t want to know what he thought, how he acted, anything about the music. They wanted nothing to do with either of us,”

Al Pacino has told the press he didn't want to meet Spector in prison because he would be a different man than the one Pacino is portraying -- a man who wasn't convicted yet.

In 2009, Spector was convicted of second-degree murder in the 2003 shooting death of actress Lana Clarkson in his Alhambra, California home. He is serving 19 years to life.

Phil Spector premieres Sunday, March 24.
