With The Bachelor’s final rose going to Catherine Giudici, and Sean Lowe off the market, all eyes are turning to the 2013 season of The Bachelorette.
On Monday, is was officially revealed that Desiree Hartsock will take the reign of the ABC reality franchise from former Bachelorette Emily Maynard.
As RumorFix first reported in February, Desiree has been preparing herself for the opportunity to find love among 25 new bachelors ever since she was sent home by Sean.
Hartsock told RumorFix, “[If asked to be the next Bachelorette], I would say yes to the opportunity. The experience was very emotionally draining. If I were offered, I would have to give it a lot of thought and make sure I’m prepared for the emotional roller coaster. But I do believe in the experience.”
A deal between Warner Bros. and the California native was finally reached earlier this month and filming of The Bachelorette season 17 is set to begin in May.
Congratulations Desiree!
