Jax Taylor dropped a major bombshell on this week’s season finale of Vanderpump Rules.
We see Jax during his counseling session where he confesses to his therapist that he has a little problem with telling the truth and in fact, his real name isn’t even Jax at all, it’s Jason.
He basically admits that he’s an uncontrollable liar and once he weaves his web of lies, he simply cannot stop. So after trying to woo his ex-girlfriend Stassi Schroeder back for most of the episode (they even have a steamy photo shoot together for SUR publicity at Lisa Vanderpump’s Beverly Hills mansion along with all of the other incredibly hot servers) he admits something quite shocking.
At the wrap party for the photo shoot, Jax shows up with a huge bouquet of flowers for Stassi, but first pulls Lisa into a private room to tell her is quitting SUR because he cares too much for Stassi and it’s all a bit much working together with her at SUR.
Lisa is not really all that surprised by his resignation and then Jax asks Stassi to speak with him privately, and he admits that he lied the entire season to her and all their friends. He goes on to say that the information their co-worker Frank had was right, indeed he did cheat on Stassi in Las Vegas with a cocktail waitress, impregnate her, and send her money to help cover the abortion.
Stassi breaks down in tears, yet feels oddly victorious that all summer long her friends chose not to believe the story about Jax cheating and sympathized with him over her. He basically says he will walk away and never contact her again, and asks her if that is what she wants? She says”Yes,” and in a very dramatic exit, he turns around and walks out, but not before quieting the whole party at the bar to confess his sins to all of his fellow co-workers and shocked group of close friends.
Lisa writes in her blog, “This chapter closes with the ultimate betrayal. The man that they all invested in and believed over their good friend, the man who spun the story to suit himself comes to the conclusion that an honest admission was the only way out.”
Stassi Schroeder writes in her blog regarding Jax’s secret, “It was one of the most heartbreaking moments of my life. I spent the whole summer being the only one to believe he cheated, and to finally hear him admit it was just insane. I was angry, sad, anxious, yet at the same time I had a feeling of vindication. No one believed me this whole season, my friends chose to believe Jax. I had the loneliest summer of my life and I was finally getting justification.”
