The man who pulled off the biggest sports hoax of the year tells Dr. Phil McGraw that he is “confused” as to whether he is gay or not.

Ronaiah Tuiasosopo, who played a four-year hoax on Manti Te’o pretending to be his fake girlfriend Lennay Kekua, is telling all to Dr. Phil.

When asked if he is gay, Ronaiah replied, “If you look at this situation and everything that I’ve been through, I would say yeah I’m gay. But honestly I’m so confused.”

He admitted having romantic feelings for the football hero, but mentioned that he is trying to “recover from homosexuality.’

On Friday’s show, Dr. Phil asked his father if it would make a difference if Ronaiah were gay? His response: “You’re still my son,” He then turns to Dr. Phil and says, “We love him unconditionally.”
