Richard Marx Disses Chris Brown, Grammy Awards

Singer Richard Marx is slamming CBS’ decision to censor celebrity wardrobe at this Sunday’s Grammy Awards, while in the same breathe allowing Chris Brown to attend the event.

It was four years ago that Brown savagely attacked his girlfriend Rihanna, leaving her face bruised and bloodied. Earlier this week, CBS sent out a memo instructing celebrities attending the music award show to not wear provocative clothing. This prompted Marx to tweet:

“‘Risque’ clothing banned at Grammys but guys who beat up women? Come ooonnn downnnnn … ” he joked, later adding, “Technically, that tweet was about ANY d*ckbag who hits women.”

Well, Brown doesn’t only hit women; according to a police report, he also hit Frank Ocean over a parking space.

      Plenty of folks love Chris Brown and the MAIN ONE who loves
      him is GOD. That alone is HUGE… GOD loves, judges and forgives…

      And as for Richard Marx’s comment that Chris Brown beats
      women. That’s a lie. Women is plural and Rihanna is single. That incident
      happened years ago and has been judged and forgiven. Folks who condemn Chris
      Brown need to be mindful that GOD can condemn them. And when GOD is furious,
      there is no one that can rescue from His judgments.

      Richard Marx sings, plays multiple instruments, and writes hits for younger artists to this day. Marx made a great point……CBS creates rules for clothing but lets felony assault slide. Ridiculous!
