Kim Kardashian: I’m Not Leaving Reality TV, But I Will Be More Private

Rumors of Kim Kardashian leaving reality TV have been going on for quite some time now.

And a recent interview Kim did with DuJour Magazine only fueled the chit-chat. “I just feel so blessed and excited and ready for the next phase. When you live your life so publicly, like on a reality show, people assume that they know every side of you already. But they always want more.”

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star continues, “My boyfriend has taught me a lot about privacy. I’m ready to be a little less open about some things, like my relationships. I’m realizing everyone doesn’t need to know everything. I’m shifting my priorities.”

But the mommy to be got wind that her quotes got taken out of context. Taking to her blog to clear the air, the 32-year-old said:

“I know that many of you have read the DuJour Magazine interview I just did. In the article, I was asked about continuing on with Keeping Up with the Kardashians. As everyone knows, we are extremely proud of the show and all of us are staying on through at least season 10. The show remains to be my number 1 priority and it’s a big part of my life and I enjoy every moment of it. It has given me such a rare opportunity to share more of my life with all of you and has brought my family closer to each other. I’m looking forward to the new season and beyond. The fact is that I have many goals that I still need to reach and accomplish and I (like so many of you) don’t know where my life will be in the next couple of years, but I’m looking forward to continuing this journey.”

      This article shows how much people take what Kim says and twist it. Kim has stated she might be taking time off after the baby is born. Taking time off is not retirement, however. When she talks about the “next phase”, people speculate whatever they want, I think she meant her time as a mother, which is certainly a new phase in her life. Hopefully, Kim’s not going anywhere, we’ll see her for years to come. At least it’ll give the haters something to gripe about.

            i think matthew that you try to make it sound like you have a closer connection to the kardashian than just being a poster on tabloid sites. Your obsession with defending and little innuedoes that you may have some insite makes you kind of scary. I don’t think you are anything but some 400 lb man or woman who wishes he knew them, could touch them or maybe even just walk by them but everytime you try to stick up for these ppl you make a fool of yourself.

              400 pounds? LOL. I’m about 5 foot 8, at about 145 pounds, which means my weight is ideal. But thanks for asking. Talking about scary, don’t you also think it’s scary that someone makes post, after post, after post about a celebrity they hate? That would be what I would call scary. That doesn’t describe me, Gwen, but it describes you to a tee. Now, don’t you have some hockey game to watch?

      I call BS she keeps posting pics past & present but most notable is yeah she will give up reality TV she has made it clear she wants a sitcom & we know Kanye claims he doesn’t do reality TV. I guess he doesnt know he is in reality TV right now. lol It’s all PR you watch they will be back with a show.

        Are you smoking something? PR? Kim never once said she’s leaving, that’s what others have claimed purely out of speculation.

        As for your other comment, I follow her on Twitter, actually she posts very few pics. Not sure what you are talking about.
        A sitcom? LOL. Kim’s not an actress, but a reality star. Her going to scripted TV is like thinking Clooney is going to reality TV. It’s not happening.
