Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Camille Grammer was offered a lucrative book deal to “tell-all” about her marriage and breakup with Kelsey Grammer, but turned it down, RumorFix is reporting exclusively.
Although the divorce has been bitter, Camille tells us, “Out of respect for my children and my ex-husband I didn’t think it was the right time — and I don’t think it will ever be the right time to write about my ex.”
Camille says she was offered a “solid advance” and she even met with a literary agent and publisher two years ago, but it didn’t feel right.
Although Camille was married to an A-lister, she was not bound by a confidentiality contract and would be free to write a book. “When it’s written in print — it is forever,” Camille tells us. “What about when my kids are teenagers and in their 20s? They will say, ‘You wrote this about dad?'”
So what about the “tell-all” that her fellow cast mate Brandi Glanville did? “I understand why she did it,” Camille tells us. “It’s not just about her relationship with Eddie, but it has humor. More power to her!”
