Sean Lowe sending Desiree Hartsock home on Monday’s episode of The Bachelor was by far one of the most heart breaking scenes in the show’s history. But could Des’s depressing departure lead her to something even better?
Host Chris Harrison has been dropping hints that the California sweetheart is in the running to become the next Bachelorette. He told TV Guide, “Des is a big front-runner [for The Bachelorette]. She’s the beautiful girl-next-door that you want to wish well.”
And now Desiree is confirming that she would take the gig. During a conference call with RumorFix, Des reveals, “[If asked to be the next Bachelorette], I would say yes to the opportunity. The experience was very emotionally draining. If I were offered I would have to give it a lot of thought and make sure I’m prepared for the emotional roller coaster. But I do believe in the experience.”
