Michelle Williams: Destiny’s Child Not Reuniting At Super Bowl

Beyonce just keeps on disappointing us. First it was the lip-sync scandal at the Inauguration, now it’s Destiny’s Child drama at the Super Bowl. Contrary to reports, and suggestions by B, there will BE no reunion of the R&B group at this weekend’s Super Bowl.

One-third of the girl group says reports of a reunion are “not true.” Michelle Williams tells WRUG Media in a recent interview that she’s going on the road to support her play and will not be joining Beyonce and Kelly Rowland in New Orleans. “I’m going to be in the musical Fela! I hate to disappoint the people and tell them that it’s not true.”

“I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry,” Williams continued. “But we did record a song with each other before the holidays.”

Williams is headlining a world tour of the Tony Award-winning show, but will not appear during two shows at Sidney Harman Hall on Super Bowl Sunday … so who knows.
