Michelle Obama is arguably the most talked about first lady since Jackie Kennedy and on inaugural day, Michelle is the subject of many headlines.

First and foremost — those bangs!

The stylish first lady tells Entertainment Tonight, that she has been envious of Dr. Jill Biden, “I’ve been coveting those bangs for four years and thought ‘I’m gonna do it!’” So, now Michelle jokes that the two ladies are now nicknamed “the bang sisters.”

So, what did the president’s wife wear on Monday? She  chose a navy Thom Browne coat and dress.

Her belt and shoes are from J. Crew and the cardigan is designed by Reed Krakoff, Michelle’s necklace was designed by Cathy Waterman. After the ceremonies on Monday, the entire outfit goes into the National Archives.
