We were excited to see her as a Spanish teacher on Glee, so we were thrilled when we read in Star magazine that the movie star has her sights on Downton Abbey.
But here’s a note to Star’s editors — You had us until you said “she begged for a role on the UK show.”
We don’t think the A-lister needs to beg for anything!
The tabloid claims, “Gwen just wrapped Iron Man 3 and is so sick of blockbusters and wants to focus more on TV.”
Gwyneth’s rep tells RumorFix, “False. She is not trying to get on Downton Abbey.”
