Edward Furlong, who has reportedly lost roles in two movies because of domestic violence issues, appeared in a Beverly Hills court on Friday for his most recent incident, RumorFix is reporting exclusively.
The Terminator 2 actor has been in isolation in the LA County Jail and hasn’t been able to even talk to his mother on the phone.
The 35-year-old, who was in handcuffs, appeared in a courtroom with his mother looking on.
Judge Elder Fox granted Edward permission to speak to his mother for 15 minutes and he also allowed him access to a telephone on Friday.
Edward’s attorney is asking for a jury trial and he wants all audio and video obtained by the police.
The former child actor e is accused of causing “corporal injury” to his girlfriend, actress Monica Keena on Sunday January 13. This was his third domestic violence issue in three months.
The jury trial is set for February 6, 2013.
