MediaTakeOut claims Frank Ocean’s decision to file charges against Chris Brown later this week stems from a phone call he received from Jay-Z. According to a police report, Ocean was attacked by Brown and the singer’s entourage outside a recording studio in Los Angeles on Sunday night.

Ocean was initially reluctant to file charges, but MTO says he’s had a change of heart since talking to Jigga.

“Oh, what a DIFFERENCE a day makes – and a call from Jay Z. MediaTakeOut.com received word from a top source that after speaking to Jay-Z, Frank Ocean has changed his mind. We’re told that Frank is expected to file criminal charges against Breezy before the week is out. And is looking into filing a civil suit against Breezy too.”

That’s interesting, because a “TOP SOURCE” close to Jigga tells RumorFix that Hov did not pressure Ocean to file charges against Brown, in fact, he hasn’t even talked to the singer.

Why would anybody believe anything from MTO? Why would Jay-Z give Rihanna the idea to do Nobody’s Business duet with Rihanna only for him to talk to Frank Ocean and persuade him into filing charges against Chris? Common sense ain’t too common these days.
