After dating for only a year, pop star Kelly Clarkson is engaged, RumorFix has confirmed.

The first American Idol winner made the announcement on Twitter Saturday shouting out, “I’M ENGAGED!!!!!”

The Grammy-nominated pop star got engaged on Friday night describing it as,”Happiest night of my life last night!”

Miss Independent says her new fiance , Brandon Blackstock is” the greatest man ever :) ”

Brandon is a Nashville-based talent manager, son of Kelly’s manager Narvel Blackstock, who is married to Reba McEntire.
