Chad Johnson: Yes, I Cheated On Evelyn Lozada

Chad Johnson has finally admitted to being unfaithful to Basketball Wives star, Evelyn Lozada. The former NFL wide receiver appeared on ESPN’s First Take on Wednesday where he was asked flat-out if the fight he had with Evelyn Lozada started over his infidelity. “Yes,” Johnson responded.

“I messed up. I messed up. Period. I lost everything. Football, my wife, the family I had, over something that didn’t really mean anything,” Johnson said referrencing his affair.

Johnson and Lozada got into a heated argument back in August after she allegedly found a box of condoms inside his sports car. The argument escalated and ended with Johnson head-butting Lozada, causing a laceration that required stitches. Consequently, Johnson was arrested, cut by the Miami Dolphins and divorce; he also lost several endorsement deals and his wedding special with Lozada was canceled by VH1.

The unemployed football player has since been taking domestic violence classes and trying to get back into the NFL.

Asked if he thinks he deserves a second chance with Evelyn, he replied, “Yeah.”
