Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong is locked in two battles with the newest Housewives – Brandi Glanville and Yolanda Foster.
Taylor upsets Yolanda, married to music producer David Foster, when Taylor gets tipsy at a party at the Fosters fabulous mansion in Malibu.
Taylor, always the powder keg waiting to have a meltdown, has an obsession with bad mouthing Brandi Glanville, who wasn’t even in attendance that evening. So Taylor is sitting at the table bashing Brandi to a very bored looking guest and Yolanda is visibly appalled at how Taylor is behaving. They cut away to Yolanda’s on-camera interview of her saying that “nothing is uglier than a drunk woman.”
Brandi who was not at the party, responds in her blog,”I am not sure why Taylor continues to talk about me to complete strangers with secondhand misinformation–but she does.”
She goes on to say, “It is sad to watch Taylor at times and right when I start to feel sorry for her she does something really despicable.” Taylor responds in her blog saying, “Unfortunately the dinner party occurred during a pretty dark time for me emotionally. In retrospect, I don’t think I was ready to be meeting new people and engaging in dinner conversation.”
Next, we move on to the really awkward part of the evening where David Foster has everyone move around the piano after dinner so he can give a little impromptu concert with some fellow professional singers and musicians. When the Housewives all start to chime in and sing, he comes off a bit haughty by stopping the music and asking for only the “professionals” to sing. Hilarious!!
To see all of their reactions was priceless, however, most of the ladies took it well but Taylor was not so gracious and having had a bit too much to drink at this point, she was eye rolling and muttering about them all not making an album here and just wanting to sing and have fun.
Then during a sad trumpet rendition of “Danny Boy” (which is an Irish funeral song after all, probably highly inappropriate for a festive gathering) Taylor loses it and can’t get through listening to the song so close after her husband just killed himself, and she then blames the host for ruining her night.
In regards to Taylor, Yolanda writes, “What really rubbed me the wrong way is the attitude and audacity with which she came into our home and started acting rudely and being disrespectful to my husband who she never even met! She should be so honored to be in his company.”
Taylor responds by writing “Although everything was done to perfection, I have to say…lighten up a little bit. This the Real Housewives and we like to have a good time.”
