According to RumorFix sources backstage at the X Factor, Taylor Swift told some females (perhaps in a joking manner) to back down from One Direction’s Harry Styles.

After her recent breakup from Conor Kennedy, the 22-year-old country singer is not wasting time sulking over their relationship.  Word has it she has already moved onto her latest conquest — the famous pop singer from the UK!

Mario Lopez, co-host of X Factor, confirmed the pop duo were “hanging out” backstage Thursday night. On his 104.4 MY FM radio show, Mario said, “Taylor Swift was the special guest performer, and a little inside scoop for you: During rehearsals, Harry from One Direction came and slapped me on the back and said, ‘Hey, Mario, how ya doing?’ And I said, ‘What are you doing here?’ And he sort of [pointed] toward Taylor.”

Mario added he saw Harry and Taylor”walking off hand in hand.”
