Why Emily Maynard & Jef Holm Won’t Announce Their Breakup

Multiple sources are now telling RumorFix that Emily Maynard and Jef Holm broke up last week, but they have been restricted from confirming the worst kept secret in Hollywood.

A source familiar with their Bachelorette contract reveals that news of their breakup must be approved by ABC first.

We are told that since Courtney Robertson and Ben Flajnik just split, ABC wants to wait a while before announcing another breakup. “it’s no secret the success rate of the show is horrible,” our insider says, “They are trying to do some damage control.”

A source close to the couple says Jef never got over Emily swapping texts with Oakland Raiders quarterback Matt Leinart and now Jef has begun talking to his ex-girlfriend again.

      The producer Mills tweeted that this is garbage. They don’t need ABC’s approval.This is all on Emily and Jef and them lying to their fans. For me I never bought it for  a second. I think she is still crying over not picking Arie. She cried more talking about him during the show than she did  ever talking about Jef. She is regretting that move every minute and could never love Jef that way.

        If she wanted Arie she would have picked him. My god, get over it. She didn’t want Arie, she wanted Jef. However, she definitely has issues if she was sexting with Matt. Jef did so much for her: he took his mom away from the mission area so Emily could meet her, he took her to Africa, he invited her to his family’s vacation, he moved across the country, he coached Ricki’s soccer team. What exactly has she done for him? She found one hell of a guy and threw it all away.

          Exactly, if Emily has wanted Arie he would have picked her on the show! Why don’t people accept that? Dumping him on the show means she did not ever want him, period!  Think of it like this…. if Jason had really wanted Molly, he would have picked her on the show! The fact that he dumped her on the show means he never wanted her!  Think about it people!!

          Arie did NOT want Emily which is why the Final Rose Ceremony had such a chopped up ending.  You sound like you’ve been guzzling the Jef Holm Kool-Aid, get over it!

      They may be creating the illusion of a break up just so everyone will leave them alone, the rumors will cease and they can have some privacy until January when the focus will shift to Sean Lowe. Regardless, the scrutiny on them has been extremely harsh and has not provided them the opportunity to have a healthy relationship. How could anyone not be affected emotionally when so many are rooting for you too fail. The pecomrsonal attacks on their character and the attacks on their families have been extremely unfair and unkind. Regardless of their feelings for each other, it would be difficult not to let all of the negative energy and remarks have an impact on them and cause them to become guarded and protective of their family members who did not sign up to be on the show or for any of the publicity.
