Nicki Minaj Blows Up At Mariah Carey During Idol Auditions

RumorFix has confirmed that Nicki Minaj blew up at Mariah Carey during American Idol auditions in Charlotte, North Carolina.

According to TMZ, the rapper threatened Mariah by saying, “I’m gonna knock you out.”

A video tape obtained by TMZ doesn’t show the threat, but it does show Nicki on one side, Keith Urban in the middle and Mariah on the other side while Nicki reportedly yells out, “I told them, I’m not f***ing putting up with her f***ing highness over there.”

MouthToEars reports, “Nicki Minaj walked off of set because Mariah Carey kept making jabs at her.  Nicki’s manager and team convinced her to come back to the show.  Mariah kept at it and called Nicki a bitch and then proceeded to cuss her out.  Producers had to stop filming and call it a night.”

Mariah tweeted late Tuesday night, “whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy”

Keith made no mention of the clash at all, remembering the good auditions, “Awesome #IdolAuditions day today Charlotte. Lotta soul, lotta country, lotta down home cool. -KU”

RumorFix has emails out to Mariah and Nicky’s reps.  FOX has no comment.

      I don’t care for Nicki Minaj but I’m on her side vis-a-vis Mariah Carey.  What a mistake to sign either of them up when there are so many more relevant and talented artists out there  who really know the music business and how to spot talent.  American Idol is well on its way to utter destruction.  I will not be watching it this year unless those two are replaced.

      Well the producers for AI are brilliant.. The show was slipping in ratings so they figured to get two women who cant stand each other and watch the fireworks happen. Yes its going to take away from the talent but what does AI care.. Its all for ratings.. which is a shame.

        People’s ego’s get in the way and after a while of being insulted, some people return what they have been given. We don’t know how many jabs Mariah took, but I think she’ll be careful in the future…now that she has been bluntly told the limits. To be honest, I don’t watch the show and wouldn’t with these two. Mariah is jealous that there is another diva there and perhaps that also rubs Nicki the wrong way seeing as how she admits to previously saying “I told them, I’m not f***ing putting up with her f***ing highness over there.”
