The littlest reality star, Honey Boo Boo, is one of the gay community’s biggest supporters and RumorFix has the proof.

Not only does the seven-year-old have an openly gay uncle, Poodle, (whose real name is Lee), but she is quoted as saying:

“Ain’t nothing wrong with bein’ a little gay. Everybody’s a little gay.”

And, GLAAD just announced that the breakout star will be wearing purple for Spirit Day to take a stand against bullying and show their support for the LGBT community.

Celebrities like Ricky Martin and Reba McEntire are joining in the campaign along with MTV, ABC, BET, The Talk, Seventeen and we’re proud to say RumorFix is also a participant.

Spirit Day participants can also spread the word by telling their friends that they’re going purple on Friday, October 19. Or, you can text PURPLE to 80888 to donate $5 to support the important work GLAAD,GLSEN and The Trevor Project do every day to end bullying and support LGBT youth.
