Actress Fran Drescher was supposed to be on an episode of Real Housewives of New York, but the scene was cut, RumorFix has learned exclusively.

Fran’s cousin, Aviva Drescher, who stars in RHONY, tells our Real Mr. Housewife, “Fran allowed the Bravo cameras to shoot us all at one of her book signings,” but it ended up on the editing room floor. The reason? “Maybe it didn’t have enough drama,” Aviva speculates, “She was a terrific sport. It was a fun and happy family scene.”
Fran’s support of Aviva wasn’t surprising because, “My relationship with Fran has always been great and still is.” But, it was surprising she would support the show because prior to this season, Fran said some negative things about the Housewives franchise.

“She understands why I am doing this silly reality show and she respects and fully supports me,” Aviva says.
