After drama upon drama upon drama, Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson have finally decided to give up on their hopeless relationship and call it quits!

The couple released a joint statement to In Touch magazine:

“After meeting over a year ago, we have decided to end our romantic relationship. The ups and downs weighed heavily on us both and ultimately we started to grow apart because of the distance, time apart, and our need to focus on our respective careers.”

They continued, “We have nothing but the utmost respect for each other, and both feel this is the right decision. We continue to remain friends and will support each other in future endeavors. Thanks to everyone for your love and support, it’s been quite a ride.”

Maybe the next show winners will make it to the altar.

      Oh my goodness how did he put up with her for that long!?!?!?

      if they really loved each other they could have tried harder. To many people give up because its easy but I can kinda see why they broke up. Courtney is a hard girl to live with and I think Ben needed someone more down to earth and the relationship was based more on attraction physical at that then emotional if there was more emotion in it I think the careers and other things would not have gotten in the way.
