Director Tyler Perry is canceling the final stretch of his “Madea Gets a Job” tour because of “bootleggers.”
Perry announced the decision on his website, claiming people are buying and reselling show tickets at inflated prices, sometimes two or three times face value, he said.

“I set a ticket price for the show starting at $25 … so that everyone could get a chance to come out and see the show,” Perry said in the statement. ”Why are people so evil? Why can’t people just get legitimate jobs and stop trying to do the wrong thing all the time?”
Perry also said people claim to be him online, advertising and selling tickets to fake meet and greet parties. ”DON’T FALL FOR THIS!” he wrote. “That’s not me.”
