Since the the two announced their divorce in June, the tabloids have been trying to link Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes to other people.

In the latest issue of Star magazine, the tabloid alleges that Tom has his eyes set on none other than beautiful actress Cameron Diaz, after the two reconnected at Diaz’s 40th birthday at London’s Coworth Park Hotel on August 30.

“They’re very close. She thinks Tom is awesome. [At the party] the two were joined by other pals, but all eyes were on Cameron and Tom, who seems to be drawn to the sexy actress. Cameron is totally Tom’s type.  They have crazy good chemistry.”

Star said the same sort of thing about Cruise’s ex-wife Katie, claiming the actress has moved on to find love in actor Jeremy Strong. RumorFix debunked this rumor after Katie’s rep informed us it was totally false. So, we didn’t buy it when the magazine reported that the Mission Impossible star was shacking up with lovely Diaz.

A rep for Tommy tells RumorFix, “They are good friends – that’s all – rest is false.”
