Rumors that Ryan Gosling has been tapped to star in E.L. James’ big screen adaptation of 50 Shades of Grey are bogus, RumorFix has learned.

Porn star James Deen, and actors Matt Bomer, Ian Somerhalder, Henry Cavill, and Alexander Skarsgard have also all been rumored to be up for the role, but E.L. James is taking to Twitter to put an end to the casting gossip for now, writing:

“ALL CASTING NEWS NOT TRUE. ALL ARE RUMORS AT THE MOMENT. YES, SHOUTY CAPITALS. GRRR …”

50 Shades of Grey, considered porn for mommies, is about a naive girl who enters into a sexually adventurous, if not abusive, relationship with her older and extremely successful boss.
