Paris Hilton: Look I Really Do Love Gays

Just a few hours after an anti-gay scandal broke out involving Paris Hilton, the socialite tweeted a picture of herself with an openly-gay American Idol finalist.

Paris tweeted, “Love this pic of @AdamLambert & I during #NYFashionWeek! He looks amazing with his new hair color! Love him”

Damage control? You’ll have to decide that.

But, in an audiotape leaked online on Thursday, Paris is heard saying, ”Gay guys are the horniest people in the world … they’re disgusting … Dude, most of them probably have AIDS.”

Paris’ rep says the comments were taken out of context, and, “Paris Hilton is a huge supporter of the gay community and would never purposefully make any negative statements about anyone’s sexual orientation.”

      Whether Ms. Hilton is being defensive or honest, loving Adam Lambert isn’t proof that she’s not a vulgar homophobic.  Most everybody who meets Adam ends up thinking he’s a terrific guy as well as an astounding talent.  Just check out the hundreds of Adam Lambert utube interviews full of over-the-top enthusiastic hosts if you don’t dare believe.  

      Adam Lambert is smart (he knows when to use the word “me” instead of “I”  (see above quote), articulate (see above again),  funny (well, okay Paris is pretty hilarious–tho’ unintentionally), terrifyingly talented (fill this in yourself), candid (hello)  and compassionate (couldn’t say).   Okay, so they’re both Classic Beautiful. 

      Paris will have to stand all-by-self on this one.

      I believe Paris was having a private conversation with a friend who happens to be gay, and the cab driver had no business taping her. It appears her conversation is being taken out of context. Also, her tweet to Adam was WAY BEFORE the tape was released. She probably is truly concerned about this application. This in no way means she is homophobic. People trying to make something from nothing is how I take this.

      Damage control? Um YEAH. I have never liked Paris Hilton because she has ALWAYS seemed fake to me. When she had that show with Nicole Richi she was so rude to the people on that show. I just feel sorry for her. Not all the money in the world can make your personality shine. She seems like a judgemental person, and she just proved it to me.

      Well if that is the case she should sue that taxi cab driver for taping her conversation without permission.  Yes she will have to work hard to get herself out of this one .
