MSNBC’s Thomas Roberts: “It’s Pretty Sweet Waking Up A Married Man”

After being with his partner for 12 years, MSNBC anchor Thomas Roberts got married on Saturday, RumorFix has confirmed.

The news anchor tweeted this photo on Sunday saying, “Morning in NYC is pretty sweet waking up as a married man!” He also proudly changed his relationship status on Facebook from “engaged” to “married.”

He and his groom, Patrick Abner,  had California Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom officiate the ceremony. Newsom, who was San Francisco mayor in 2003, openly challenged California state law by giving same sex couples marriage licenses. Singer and gay rights activist Chely Wright sang during the ceremony and the guest list included: Good Morning America’s Sam Champion, Nate Berkus, Carson Kressley and Judith Light
