RumorFix has learned that Lindsay Lohan was arrested in New York City on Wednesday morning for allegedly hitting someone in her 2010 Porsche Cayenne and leaving the scene of the accident.
Authorities claim that the troubled actress allegedly struck a man while trying to navigate her SUV in an alleyway between the Dream Hotel and the Maritime in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood at around 2:30 a.m.
She was driving at a slow speed and there was a crowd of people around her when the incident happened, police said. There were two people in the SUV with Lohan at the time. The male pedestrian Lohan allegedly hit was taken to Bellevue Hospital with a leg injury.
Lohan was charged with leaving the scene of an accident with injury, and given a desk appearance summons.
