Country star LeAnn Rimes isn’t one to run away from controversy.
So Friday night when Mrs. Eddie Cibrian got out of a treatment facility to perform a 70 minute concert in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, she said she didn’t want to ignore “the elephant in the room.”
Just a week after checking into the facility to deal with stress issues, LeAnn told the crowd, “I’m totally cool and so happy. I think I’m about to cry … Thanks for being awesome fans, patient and understanding,” according to Leader-Telegram.
Rimes, who recently turned 30, appeared in good spirits although she told her fans, “I’m pissed off at a lot of things and I just can’t say it. So it comes out in the music.”
Perhaps one of the reasons LeAnn is upset is a breach of privacy lawsuit she just filed against a mother and daughter. LeAnn claims Kimberly and Lexi Smiley illegally recorded a conversation with her n March and posted parts of their discussion online. The women are reportedly supporters of Eddie’s ex-wife Brandi Glanville.
Next stop for LeAnn: the county fair in Spencer, Iowa.
