“Kim Kardashian Is Being Unfairly Slammed For DNC After Party,” Says Club Owner

Rumors that Kim Kardashian’s DNC After Party in Charlotte, North Carolina was a bust — are false, Club Hush owner Marc Hubbard tells RumorFix exclusively.

“She came down as a personal favor to me and to enjoy the DNC that night,” Hubbard says. “She graciously agreed — for free!”

People on Twitter called the event an “epic fail.”

Although gossip websites are saying only 50 people showed up to see Kim in the club that holds 3,000, Hubbard says that’s simply not true.

For one, Kim agreed just one day in advance and it wasn’t promoted, the party was always intended to be a private event. Hubbard says 250 people were invited and 250 people showed up.

From pictures exclusively obtained by RumorFix, it appears his arithmetic is correct.

“She wanted to see what the Democratic National Convention was all about — and for her to be slammed like this is completely unfair,” he tells us.

Most of the guests didn’t even know Kim was showing up, they came to see Darnaa perform. The reality star was a VIP room bonus.

      I did not understand a word you said. You haters are something else. You have been claiming Kim’s career is over for a while now. You claim the show’s ratings are down, without giving numbers. With the ones I have seen, the show is doing great. Didn’t she just reach 16 million followers on Twitter? Please, she is far from over.
      As far as this article, you claim someone is “lying” when they defend her. Her appearance got barely any attention, certainly not much advertising for it, why would you expect alot to show up? Anything to discredit Kim, no matter what the facts say.

I work there and wasn’t allowed to tell anyone until the day of the event. Owner really didn’t want many people to know… Her visit went off exactly as planned.

    Did you see the date of the flyer posts? Invited guests were given invite flyers 1-2 days before the event. The invite flyers were made 2 days before the event. If the owner wanted a crowd he would have promoted it for at least a month NOT 2 days… IT WAS A PRIVATE event.
    
    He knew the flyer would leak but for only a day or so.

      If it was private, then why did I hear a radio advertisement promoting Kim K being at Club Hush for the “Official DNC After Party” and telling every one to come by? As for not knowing the location- the ad also said where it was.

    Whether private or not, the advertising for this was minimal. To expect any celebrity, famous or not, to get a packed house on perhaps 24 hours notice is unrealistic. The media is doing what they always do, spinning a Kim story to make her look bad. And of course, the haters are buying it, as usual.

This guy is lying to this site so people don’t know what a fail this club is. First off, obviously the guests knew KK was gonna be there since it clearly said “THURSDAY- KIM KARDASHIAN” on the sign outside, prior to the event. And if this was an invitation only party that wasn’t promoted, how the in the hell did people on my Facebook (who weren’t invited) know about it before it took place? One girl even ended up showing up, don’t ask me why, but she still was able to get in and she has pics to prove it. Sorry Marc Hubbard, but I don’t believe your version of events, it seems like you are saying what you have to say to protect your business. And as far as the photos proving that there were 250 people there, I count 30 in the above photo, how about posting a photo showing these 250 people in the club?

I see a picture with Kim and maybe ten people, and another picture with about fifty people. Not a real hip looking crowd, mainly Walmart and Goodwill style. The guy names the club after a busted escort service miles from Uptown and claims a tie in with the DNC? Amazing BS.
