Kalon McMahon may be the most hated contestant in the history of The Bachelor franchise, but believe it or not, the 27-year-old may have a soft spot.

McMahon became extremely disliked by fans after he competed for Emily Maynard’s love on The Bachelorette referring to her seven-year-old daughter as “baggage” and later bluntly admitting he wasn’t sorry for the comment.

But now it appears the Texas native has come around, and reveals to RumorFix how important it is for Maynard’s daughter, Ricki, to have a stable father in her life.

When RumorFix asked what he thinks of Emily and her fiance Jef Holm’s relationship, Kalon tells us, “For the sake of Ricki, I certainly hope it is a healthy relationship that develops from this [show] so that they can look back and say it was absolutely worth it.  And I think Jef would honestly be a great dad because I think he’s a big kid himself.  So I can certainly see that being a good dynamic for them.”
