RumorFix can tell you, yes it’s true! You now have a chance to meet Jimmy Kimmel, host of the 2012 Emmy Awards!
The late night host will be acting as a co-host along with his former The Man Show pal Adam Carolla for ‘Prima Notte‘, the first night of the Feast of San Gennaro. The event will be held Thursday, September 27 in Los Angeles. The San Gennaro Foundation is a non-profit that benefits families and children in need.
“The Feast of San Gennaro is something my family and I look forward to every year,” Jimmy Kimmel said. “I have no doubt that that our eleventh year will be a great one.”
Inspired by the 80+ year old New York City tradition, the Feast celebrates Italian culture, entertainment and cuisine, and will feature great food, music, genealogy research, a kid’s corner, bocce, bingo, carnival rides, games and more. Surprise celebrity guests will join the cooking team, as they demonstrate Italian recipes on the Galbani Cheese La Cucina Italiana Cooking Stage with special guest, Galbani Cheese’s very own Chef Marco.
The Italian Festival will be held September 28-30, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
If you want to dive into Italy for a night and grab a cannoli or slice of pizza with Jimmy or Adam you can purchase tickets that range from $50 to a $1,000 VIP table for the Prima Notte Night. Tommy Lasorda from the LA Dodgers and NFL’s Lou Cordileone will be in attendance along with many other celebs.
