It’s a bittersweet time for Jef Holm and Emily Maynard as getting engaged on a reality show means there will be endless negative tabloid reports.

RadarOnline most recently came out with a nasty story alleging that Jef has been texting and secretly meeting up with his ex-girlfriend. The blog claims that the hush-hush rendezvous took place when the two went to a Burger King on Sunday night.

But The Bachelorette lovebirds are only focusing on the positive.

Jef didn’t directly address the rumors (probably to keep from adding fuel to the fire), but according to a tweet  he sent out on Tuesday he alluded to the fact that their wedding is still on track.

“I have a feeling a venue for a special day will be picked out soon.”

And — just four days ago –  on Friday mom-of-one Emily tweeted a photo of the duo looking like the happiest couple ever:

“Watching Ricki cheer at the football game!”
