Gretchen Rossi of Real Housewives of Orange County recently debuted her fall 2013 Go Pink Gretchen Christine purse collection at New York’s Fashion Week and RumorFix was at the guest-list only bash at hotspot Kiss and Fly.
The beautiful reality star used her first and middle name for the accessory line.
She tells RumorFix correspondent Real Mr. Housewife exclusively, ” My new Pink Collection was inspired when the Breast Cancer Charities of America approached me to be a part of their ‘Go Pink’ campaign. I was extremely honored and decided to create a line that Gretchen Christine could give back with. The collection is all things one would need for travel: there is a three-piece overnight luggage set — which includes a roller bag, a duffel bag, and a laptop–carrying tote — a passport cover, an iPad case, an iPhone case, a wallet, and the signature satchel”
At her launch party, Gretchen’s collection was on full display in a VIP area. Although the pieces looked white from the light, Gretchen to us, “The collection is actually a pale/nude pink. I have had so many people reach out to me that have been affected by cancer that wanted to purchase the bag in order to support such a great cause. Therefore, it was important to make a bag that would be extremely versatile for everyone and would coordinate with a lot more fashion choices. Sometimes a bright pink color is a little too much for some, so we decided to go with a lighter pale pink. Everyone keeps telling me how much they just love it!”
While Gretchen’s collection was the feature of the evening, it was hard to avoid all of the other Housewives (and husbands) who came out to support her. In the house that evening were Alex McCord, Simon van Kempen, Melissa Gorga, Kathy and Richard Wakile, Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan and (of course) Rossi’s boyfriend Slade Smiley.
Ramona seemed to be having a great time, as the Real Mr. Housewife saw her dancing the night away. She happened to mention to him that she will be making appearances in New Jersey soon and briefly discussed her new wine that’s launching called Ramona Red.
As for Gretchen’s line, it’s not available in stores yet, but you can get it online here. Prices range from $25 to $299.
