Harry Potter’s Emma Watson wants everyone to know that she’s not dangerous.
The actress topped the recent list of “Most Dangerous Online Celebrities,” released by McAfee.
The virus software security company says if you search terms like “Emma Watson and nude pictures,” or “Emma Watson and fakes,” or “Emma Watson and busted,” you run the risk of finding malicious websites designed to steal your personal information.
Emma’s team is so upset by the findings that they want to make sure that her fans know she has an official website, Facebook Page and Twitter profile.
Here’s a statement obtained by RumorFix:
“You may have read in the news that, according the internet security firm McAfee, cyber criminals are capitalizing on Emma’s popularity by imbedding viruses into rogue sites claiming to be about her.
Unfortunately there is nothing we can do to prevent this. However we can assure you that Emma’s official sites Emma Watson, Facebook, and Twitter will always be safe.
