Amanda Bynes Retires From Showbiz

Amanda Bynes has been in the news more for her bad behavior than for her movies lately, and now the 26-year-old says she’s retiring from acting, RumorFix is reporting.
The troubled star spoke to People after her string of run-ins with police saying, “I am doing amazing.”
She continued, “I am retired as an actor. I am moving to New York to launch my career. I am going to do a fashion line.”
The former actress, who once appealed to President Obama for help, insists that she doesn’t drink and drive.

      I wouldn’t call it having two hit-and-runs and a DUI “amazing” at all, and somehow I don’t think she’s capable of running of her own fashion line, and even if she is, I don’t expect it to sell that well.  She shouldn’t give up on acting, as it’s pretty much the only reliable way she’s going to be able to continue making a living.

        She’s already had her own fashion line. So this would be her second one.
