A Bollywood superstar is apologizing to Natalie Portman after lying to the press about plans to work on a romantic comedy with the actress.

Saif Ali Khan has retracted the claim and issued an apology after Natalie’s rep filed a legal notice. In the apology, Saif says the entire thing was blown out of proportion.
“It was a joke. I’m sorry. I’m just annoyed with speculation on all aspects of my life. I might just start making up stories to entertain myself. Hope people will understand that.”
