Beyonce has partnered with the United Nations to encourage all of us to lend a helping hand to those in need.
In a promotional video for the 2012 World Humanitarian Day, the “Halo” angel dons a sweeping mop of braids and says, “It’s high time we rise together. Do one thing for another human being. Nothing is too small. It begins with each of us, make your mark and say ‘I was here.’”
World Humanitarian Day falls on August 19th when Beyonce will debut a song called ‘I Was Here,’ which has been written especially for the cause.
