Friday when Snooki tweeted, “I’m a balloon waiting to pop,” she meant it. RumorFix has confirmed that Snooki is in labor as of Saturday at 9 p.m. PT.
“Yes, Nicole [Polizzi] has gone into labor,” her rep said in a statement. “While we understand she has fans everywhere — hospitals now included – we ask that her privacy be respected moving forward. We’ll all get to meet her Italian Stallion newborn soon enough.”
The 24-year-old mom and her fiance, Jionne LaValle, are expecting a baby boy, whom they plan to name Lorenzo LaValle.
Snooki’s Jersey Shore co-star Pauly D told MTV News, “I’m real excited. You want to know why? I love babies! I love everything about them, when they’re not yours. So I’ll take care of it, spoil it and then when it’s crying, give it back to Snooki.”
