The greatest Olympian swimmer of all time and his new lady made their first official appearance as a couple on the red carpet of the Speedo party at Roof Gardens nightclub in London, England.

While the couple have been dating for about five months, there are rumors that Megan is using Phelps to increase her profile in the hopes of making it in Hollywood, but Megan’s father tells RumorFix exclusively that’s just not true.

“She had a career in her own right before she ever met Michael,” says Wayne Rossee. “In fact, she put things on hold to support him and go to London like he asked her to. She is not with him to be famous, she doesn’t need that from him.”
