Contrary to rumors, rock band Limp Bizkit is not breaking up. The rumor started after frontman Fred Durst hinted that the group was calling it quits.
“Say in 2000, there were 35 million people who connected to this band. Twelve years later, lots of those people have moved on. We were a moment in time and it’s over,” Durst said in a recent interview.
Those comments got picked up by bloggers, but were shutdown by guitarist Wes Borland:
“LB has not called it quits. That article is insane. Thanks for your concerns, but we’re all good over here,” he wrote.
Durst later dismissed the break-up claims he helped started, tweeting:
“Limp Bizkit trending WORLDWIDE! Gotta love lies and rumors!! Keep it up!! USA Tour in the works!!”
We guess that settles that.
