Contrary to rumors, Friday actor John Witherspoon is not dead. Rumors of the legendary comedian’s death went viral on Thursday night and continued into Friday morning, but RumorFix has learned that the gossip is unfounded.
Witherspoon cleared up the rumor himself on Twitter, writing:
“What the hell y’all talking bout on here?!?? I ain’t ‘DEAD.’ I’m in Ft. Lauderdale at the Hard Rock Cafe gettin’ dat paper.”
He later added, ”Hey, but since I’m #trending, y’all better follow me and spread the word that ‘I AIN’T DEAD.’ He continued, “Hey, since ya’ll care about me so much go check out my cooking show on YouTube.”
Ha! Gotta love that.
